MAKE THE ISLAND PART OF YOUR EVENT
Give your visit more than an agenda.
A break from the conference. An afternoon with colleagues. A welcome for visiting guests. Make room for a shared experience that gives everyone something to talk about.
I help groups discover Bornholm’s history, nature, art and towns through personal guiding. We start with your guests and the time available, then choose a route and theme to suit.
Arranging a stay or an event for a client? Tell me about the brief. Together we can explore how a guided experience can fit around meetings, meals and the rest of the programme.
IDEAS FOR YOUR TOUR
Experience Bornholm your way.
Here are a few starting points. Timing, route and content are agreed with each group.
Space for fresh thinking
A guided town walk or an introduction to local island stories, tailored to a break in your schedule.
For conference breaks and visiting colleagues
A shared discovery
Make a longer excursion part of your company’s stay. We can put together a route featuring local history, landscapes or art, with time to enjoy it together.
For company days and corporate stays
A different perspective
Give your guests a more personal introduction to Bornholm. Tell me what interests them, and we’ll find relevant places and stories.
For client visits and international groups

BEYOND THE SUMMER SEASON
Make room for an experience outdoors.
Planning a company event in the quieter months? A guided experience can help your guests connect with the island you’ve chosen as your meeting place.
Let’s find a route, pace and duration that suit the season, daylight and your guests. Weather and access are part of the planning, and dates are confirmed by agreement.

MEET YOUR GUIDE
Stuart Goodale.
A local perspective since 1992.
Based in Bølshavn, I guide across Bornholm. My tours introduce you to the island’s history, nature, art and towns, with a route tailored to each group.
I am a native English speaker and have lived in Denmark since 1980. This gives me a strong foundation for sharing the island’s stories with international guests. I also have more than 30 years of experience as a full-time freelance translator.
Tell me who your guests are and what you’d like them to take away from their visit. We’ll take it from there.

A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Before you enquire.
Can hotels and event organisers enquire on behalf of clients?
Yes. Share your client’s wishes, venue and schedule so we can discuss a guided experience that complements the event. Partnership arrangements are agreed directly.
Do we need to book a standard tour?
No. For business groups, we start with an enquiry. We discuss suitable content and duration, then provide a quote for the agreed tour.
What about language, walking pace and accessibility?
Guiding in English is available. Please mention any other language preferences, walking pace or accessibility needs in your enquiry so we can assess the route’s suitability before booking.
Are transport and attraction visits included?
The starting point is Stuart’s guiding service. If your idea requires transport, admission fees or visits to other providers, these must be agreed and confirmed separately. Please mention them in your enquiry.
LET’S MAKE A PLAN
What brings your group to Bornholm?
Tell me a little about your event. Together we can find a tour that suits your guests and programme – in autumn, winter and spring too.
You don’t need a finished plan. Start with what you know.
An enquiry is not a booking. The date and price are confirmed directly with Stuart.
